Embroidered ring holder: the wedding-day accessory that becomes a keepsake

Porte-alliances brodé personnalisé Faïença, coussin de mariage fait main

The moment the rings are brought forward is one of the rare instants the whole room watches at once. A plain shop-bought cushion does the job. An embroidered ring holder already tells the couple's story, even before the rings reach the fingers.

At the studio, I make it on a hoop: the two rings are tied on with small ribbons, and once the day is over, the piece goes on to live a second life, hung on the wall.

What's seen on the day

A 16 cm hoop is easy to carry, even for a page boy or flower girl. It photographs well. It doesn't fold into a pocket, and it isn't just an anonymous tray.

You choose the text: names, initials, sometimes the date. Around it, a floral pattern, foliage, the colours of the invitation or the bouquet. If you already have stationery, send a photo: I'll match it.

What it becomes afterwards

This is where the hoop format changes everything. A ring cushion gets put away. A hoop gets hung up. It joins the invitation, the photos, sometimes the embroidered bouquet I mention in embroidered creations for a wedding.

You're not just giving a ceremony accessory. You're giving the memory of that moment.

For the couple, or as a gift to them

Couples often order it themselves, at the same time as the invitations. But it's also a lovely gift from a witness, parents, or a sister. In that case, ask the couple for the theme colours and initials: two details are enough.

Timeline and price

Allow 5 to 6 weeks before the big day to order comfortably (2 to 3 weeks of studio time, then shipping from Barcelona). Techniques range from cotton at €50 to beaded Lunéville at €70.

Custom pieces aren't returnable. That's why it's worth being clear about the text, and attaching an image if the theme is already set.

Create your ring holder: choose “Wedding” then the ring holder finish in the form.
